We’re delighted to officially launch our new Wraparound Care Breakfast and Afterschool Club – with help from a grant from Northumberland County Council. Designed to meet the needs of our families within our school, wraparound care is open to all pupils of the school. The provision offers a calm and stimulating environment which is supportive from the very start of the day, right through until the end.
Building on a summer of creativity, storytelling and community connection and the success of our summer exhibition ‘Our Journey’ – a collaborative celebration of the many stories and connections that shape our town – the new wraparound care is a natural next step. Our aim is to support families in their daily routines, offering dependable, high-quality, and affordable childcare that fits flexibly around busy lives.
Each session is just £3, making it a affordable and accessible service for all families.
Look out for the new ‘Gardening Club’ which will be coming soon!

At the Breakfast Club, there is always something different to do and is a great way for our pupils to start their day. Offering nutritious breakfasts and a variety of activities including; drawing, book ‘chill out’, Lego, puzzles and ‘Free Choice Friday’. There’s time to have fun with friends and chat with staff and we ask that all pupils joining for Breakfast Club are in school before 8:30am.
We’re excited to introduce our wonderful afterschool club leaders – Linda and Georgina. Linda is highly experienced and used to run a popular after school club in Morpeth for 25 years. Georgina is really enthusiastic and excited to meet all of our fabulous children.
There’s an array of activities for the children to get stuck into, such as Art Club, Trident Soccer Football Club, Board Games Club and Film Club! Along with Homework Club to help our children and parents keep on top of their learning despite having busy schedules.

As we continue our journey with our new name and our new headteacher, we want to know more about the journey we have embarked on as a community. We are asking locals – businesses and residents to help us by contributing to our exhibition project ‘Our Journey’.
Locals… We would like to know what brought you to Alnwick in the first place – were you born here or did you relocate? What are your favourite memories of Alnwick? Why is Alnwick worth the journey if you’re from out of town? Do you know of any historical journeys that have influenced our town? All contributions are welcome and will be greatly appreciated!
Businesses… We would like you to tell us all about how your company started in Alnwick, why you chose to trade in Alnwick and what your aspirations are for the future.
Send this to us in any format and then we can include it in an exhibition about our community and the stories of our town.
What?:

How can you get involved:
