We need your help!

The children at Harry Hotspur Primary want to hear from you, Alnwick!

As we continue our journey with our new name and our new headteacher, we want to know more about the journey we have embarked on as a community. We are asking locals – businesses and residents to help us by contributing to our exhibition project ‘Our Journey’.

Locals… We would like to know what brought you to Alnwick in the first place – were you born here or did you relocate? What are your favourite memories of Alnwick? Why is Alnwick worth the journey if you’re from out of town? Do you know of any historical journeys that have influenced our town? All contributions are welcome and will be greatly appreciated!

Businesses… We would like you to tell us all about how your company started in Alnwick, why you chose to trade in Alnwick and what your aspirations are for the future.

Send this to us in any format and then we can include it in an exhibition about our community and the stories of our town.

What?:

Please tell us about a journey you have been on……

  • Your journey as a company or local business
  • A journey from your childhood that you remember most
  • A place which makes journeying to Alnwick worthwhile
  • A historical journey that has influenced our town
  • A journey that had a big impact on your life

How can you get involved:

Write a story, a poem, a letter, an email or send an illustration, photograph or recording. If you would like to include a piece of artwork to be displayed at our exhibition, please get in touch and we can arrange this!

Deadline for contributions:
Please submit these to our school office by 30.06.2025 via email, or alternatively arrange to drop into the office at our school if you fancy a chat about the exhibition. Your name will be added to our prize draw!
