Little Adventurers Nursery
Harry Hotspur C of E Primary School is delighted to work in partnership with Little Adventurers Day Nursery, who will be providing high-quality early years childcare at our nursery provision on our site in Alnwick.
Little Adventurers provides a warm, welcoming environment where children can grow, explore and discover through play, curiosity and real-world experiences.
Their approach is inspired by The Curiosity Approach, creating calm, engaging spaces where children are encouraged to develop their independence, creativity, communication and love of learning. Children are supported to follow their interests, ask questions and explore at their own pace, with caring practitioners there to guide and encourage them.
A nurturing start to learning
Little Adventurers places strong emphasis on creating a home-from-home environment where children feel safe, valued and confident. Communication, language, stories and rhyme are at the heart of the setting, helping children to build vocabulary, develop confidence and enjoy learning from their earliest years.
The nursery also provides thoughtfully designed indoor and outdoor spaces, using natural materials and open-ended resources to encourage curiosity, imagination and creativity.
Working together for children and families
As a nursery provision based within our school community, Little Adventurers offers families the opportunity to become familiar with the school environment from an early age.
Little Adventurers also provides support for families through its Family Club, which includes parent workshops, family events, resources and access to local family offers.

Families can register their interest now for a place at our Alnwick nursery. Once registration is complete and we are able to begin confirming places, our team will contact families with further information regarding availability, enrolment and settling-in sessions.

Families may be eligible for 15 or 30 hours of funded childcare per week, depending on their child’s age and individual eligibility.
For the working-parent funded childcare (up to 30 hours), parents should apply before the term in which they want the funding to start.
